Few things feel worse than a message saying your SlimKing account is blocked, especially when you have money in it. The good news is that most restrictions at UK-licensed casinos are routine and have a clear fix: a document to upload, a check to complete or a lock that simply times out. This guide covers every reason we know of, what each one means, how to resolve it, and how to escalate if you believe SlimKing has got it wrong.
Blocked, suspended or restricted: what is the difference?
The wording SlimKing uses tells you a lot about how serious the situation is:
- Locked – a temporary security lock, usually after wrong passwords. It clears on its own.
- Restricted – you can log in, but some actions (depositing, playing or withdrawing) are paused until something is done.
- Suspended – the account is frozen while SlimKing investigates or waits for information from you.
- Closed – the account has been shut, either at your request, through self-exclusion, or by SlimKing for a terms breach.
Every reason a SlimKing account can be blocked
Failed or pending verification
UK rules require SlimKing to confirm your age and identity before you play. If the automatic check at sign-up did not pass, or SlimKing has since asked for more documents, your account stays restricted until they are approved. Fix: upload the requested files under Account → Verification (JPG, PNG or PDF, max 10 MB). Reviews take 24–48 hours. Our KYC guide lists accepted documents.
Duplicate account
SlimKing allows one account per person and one welcome bonus per household. A second account, even opened by mistake, is usually closed. Fix: tell live chat which account is your main one. If you simply forgot your login, use the reset on the login page rather than registering again.
Mismatched details
Your name, date of birth, address and payment method must all match. A card in a partner’s name or an old address is a common trigger. Fix: update your details with support and provide proof of address; only use payment methods in your own name.
Responsible-gambling or affordability check
UK casinos must step in when play patterns suggest possible harm or when spending rises sharply. SlimKing may pause deposits and ask about your income or circumstances. Fix: answer the questions honestly and provide any documents requested. These checks are there to protect you, not to accuse you.
Self-exclusion or GAMSTOP match
If you have self-excluded through SlimKing or GAMSTOP, the account is closed for the full exclusion period and cannot be reopened early. Fix: none during the exclusion, and that is the point. If you are finding it hard, call the National Gambling Helpline on 0808 8020 133 (free, 24/7).
Security lock
Five wrong password attempts lock the login for 30 minutes. SlimKing may also lock an account if it spots unusual activity, such as a login from a new device abroad. Fix: wait 30 minutes or reset your password; for a security review, contact live chat and verify your identity.
Suspected bonus abuse
Breaking bonus rules, such as betting above the £5 maximum while wagering, using multiple accounts or claiming the welcome offer twice in one household, can lead to bonus winnings being removed and the account reviewed. Fix: ask support for the specific term they believe was broken and request the evidence in writing.
Chargeback
Disputing a SlimKing deposit with your bank usually leads to an immediate suspension. Fix: contact SlimKing first if a deposit looks wrong. If a chargeback was raised in error, you will normally need to repay the amount before the account is reviewed.
VPN or location outside the UK
A VPN or a login from abroad can make your location unverifiable. Fix: switch the VPN off, log in from the UK and ask support to review the flag.

Corner tip
How to contact SlimKing support
SlimKing has no telephone line. Your options are:
- Live chat inside the SlimKing site: an AI assistant 24/7, with human agents from 08:00 to midnight UK time, every day.
- Email ticket through the Help Centre form, with a reply within 24 hours.
What to include in your message
- The email address on your account (never your password).
- The exact error message, ideally with a screenshot.
- When the problem started and what you were doing.
- For payments: the amount, method, date and any transaction reference.
- What outcome you are asking for.
Keep it factual and polite; it genuinely speeds things up. Our support guide has more detail on reaching the right team.
Formal complaints and ADR
If support cannot fix the problem, escalate it properly:
- Raise a formal complaint through SlimKing’s complaints process, stating clearly that it is a complaint.
- Keep records of every chat transcript, email and screenshot.
- Wait for a final response. SlimKing has up to eight weeks to resolve it.
- Go to ADR. After eight weeks, or if you disagree with the final response, refer the case to the independent ADR provider named in SlimKing’s terms and conditions. It is free.
You can also check the licence number in the SlimKing footer against the UK Gambling Commission’s public register to confirm who regulates the account.
Common withdrawal problems
Withdrawal issues are the second most common reason players contact us. In short:
- Pending for longer than expected – SlimKing’s internal review takes up to 24 hours before the payment is sent. You can cancel while pending, but there is no need to.
- Documents requested – often triggered by a first or larger withdrawal. Upload them via Account → Verification; see our KYC guide.
- Wrong method – SlimKing uses a closed loop, so you must withdraw to the method you deposited with. Paysafecard cannot receive withdrawals, so those go to bank transfer.
- Bonus still active – active bonus funds must be wagered or forfeited before bonus winnings can be withdrawn.
After approval, PayPal, Skrill and Neteller pay in up to 2 hours, Trustly bank transfers in the same day to one working day, and debit cards in 1–3 working days. Our full withdrawals guide covers limits and timings.
Other everyday problems
Bonus frozen or not credited
Check you deposited at least £20 and did not use Skrill or Neteller for the welcome bonus, and that you opted in at the cashier. If a bonus looks frozen, you may have hit the 30-day expiry or placed a bet above £5. See wagering requirements.
Games not loading
Clear your browser cache, disable ad blockers and switch off any VPN. Try another browser or device. If one specific game fails, it may be a temporary provider outage; note the game name for support.
Payment declined
Usual causes are a deposit limit being reached, your bank blocking gambling transactions, a card not in your name, or trying to use a credit card (not allowed for UK gambling). Check our payments guide for accepted methods.
