What 10x wagering means
A wagering requirement is the total amount you must stake before bonus funds convert into withdrawable cash. At SlimKing it is calculated on the bonus amount only, not on bonus plus deposit, which roughly halves the work compared with older-style offers.
The SlimKing formula is simple: bonus amount × 10 = total qualifying stakes required. Stakes, not losses: a £1 spin counts as £1 of wagering whether it wins or loses.
Worked examples on the welcome bonus

Take the £100 example. You deposit £100, SlimKing adds £200 in bonus funds and you have £300 to play with. To convert the bonus you need £2,000 in qualifying stakes within 30 days. At £1 per spin on a slot that counts 100%, that is 2,000 spins.
Worked example on the Crown Wallet Boost
The Friday Crown Wallet Boost is 25% up to £100. Deposit £200 via PayPal and you get £50, so your target is £500 within 7 days. Deposit £400 and you reach the £100 maximum and a £1,000 target.
The UK 10x cap since 19 January 2026
From 19 January 2026, the UK Gambling Commission capped bonus wagering at 10x for all licensed operators. Before that, requirements several times higher, often applied to deposit plus bonus, were common, which meant targets in the tens of thousands on modest deposits. SlimKing launched in 2026 under the new rules, so every wagered offer on its UK site sits at or below the cap.
The same rule change also bans mixing products to inflate requirements, for example demanding sportsbook bets to unlock a casino bonus. If you ever see a UK offer above 10x, it is a red flag about the site.
Game contribution: which games count

While a SlimKing bonus is active, the maximum stake is £5 per spin or round. This matches the UK online slot stake limit for players aged 25 and over; players aged 18 to 24 are limited to £2 per spin on slots regardless of any bonus.

When the SlimKing clock runs out, any unconverted bonus balance and bonus winnings are removed. Your own deposited cash is not affected.
Free-spin winnings
The 200 SlimKing welcome free spins on Le Bandit arrive as 20 per day for 10 days at £0.10 each. Winnings land as bonus funds with 10x wagering and a 7-day deadline per batch. If your first day’s 20 spins win £6, you need £60 in qualifying stakes within 7 days to convert it.
The Monday Ten-Count Spins are different: 50 spins on Fist of Destruction at £0.20, and winnings are paid as cash with no wagering.
Bonus vs cash balance: which is used first
SlimKing keeps two balances. When you deposit and claim a bonus, your cash balance is used first, and the bonus balance is used only once your cash runs out. This matters for two reasons:
- If you win while still playing with cash, those winnings are cash and withdrawable.
- Once you move into bonus funds, winnings are added to the bonus balance and are locked until wagering is complete.

What voids a SlimKing bonus
These are the most common reasons a bonus is removed:
- Exceeding the £5 max bet while wagering.
- Missing the deadline: 30 days for the welcome bonus, 7 days for spin winnings and the Friday boost.
- Withdrawing mid-wager, which typically forfeits the active bonus.
- Using an excluded payment method, such as claiming the welcome bonus with Skrill or Neteller.
- Multiple accounts or household duplicates: one welcome bonus per household.
- Suspected bonus abuse, such as low-risk betting patterns on both sides of a roulette table.
- Chargebacks on the qualifying deposit.

Cancelling a bonus
You can cancel an active bonus at any time from the bonus section of your SlimKing account. Cancelling removes the remaining bonus balance and any winnings generated from bonus funds, but your cash balance stays intact.
